Thomas rocks on bass! I love that he's completely happy backing other people – in other words, he's a true bass player! He enjoys the guys who push the envelope on bass too. To that end, we're working on things that will put him more in the spotlight in the near future. He also just finished authoring another great medley arrangement – his first one was spring of last year with a Led Zeppelin arrangement. This one should be equally good. I bragged on him at the fall recital and I'll do it again: he learned seven songs the week of the recital (!!) and got up on stage to be the bassist for “the band” backing our other guitar students. Look for him to do it again at the upcoming spring recital. Thomas represents the new generation of musicians in Rome . He's humble, hard working, and enthusiastic about playing and learning – I look forward to his lesson every week!
